It will take place on 23 October 2025 at 9.30 a.m. in the Blue Hall of Collegium Maius (pl. Kopernika 11). The theme of the conference is: \u2018The role of women in shaping security policy \u2013 management, development and future challenges.\u2019<\/p>\n\n<p>The main speaker will be the former Provincial Police Commander in Opole and the first woman appointed to the rank of Chief Superintendent of Police in Poland \u2013 Chief Superintendent (retired) Dr Irena Doroszkiewicz. The topic of her speech will be \u2018The beginnings of the women&#8217;s police force in Poland\u2019. She will be followed by:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Dr Kamil Mroczka, Professor at the University of Warsaw:<br \/>\u201cResource management in crisis conditions\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dr Kamil Minkner, Professor at the University of Opole:<br \/>\u2018The image of female police officers in pop culture \u2013 between stereotype and reality\u2019<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Teresa Wierzbowska, chairwoman of the board of the Sygna\u0142 Association:<br \/>\u2018Facts and myths about female management style\u2019<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Deputy Inspector Ewelina M\u0105czkorowska, Director of the Economic Crime Division of the National Police Headquarters:<br \/>\u2018Side by side. The power that unites \u2013 female leadership in the police force.\u2019<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ma\u0142gorzata Bajsarowicz, director of PKO Bank Polski in Brzeg:<br \/>\u2018Financial independence for women\u2019<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>This will be followed by a panel discussion with the speakers and the audience.
