problems, globalistics, global education. Many similar terms, and yet each of them has its own specificity. The <strong>Global Studies<\/strong> course is unique in its own way, as it combines a great deal of practical experience gained by our experts during research expeditions in many regions of the world with academic knowledge. They take an active part in the scientific work of the Institute and the Faculty, carrying out their own research projects. They also have the opportunity to invite prominent personages from the world of politics, culture and science. The state-of-the-art Student Cultural Centre is at their disposal.   <\/p>\n<p><strong>What is taught in <em>Global Studies<\/em>?<\/strong> <\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><strong>Global Studies<\/strong> students explore interdisciplinary knowledge in political science, economics, sociology, culture and new technologies. In the course of their studies, they will acquire knowledge in the areas of global development theory, geopolitics, human rights and public policies. They will take a closer look at highly relevant global issues in subjects such as conflicts of the modern world, food and water in the 21st century, or urban development. They will also become familiar with alter-globalist movements, international organisations, as well as today\u2019s trends and megatrends.
