Prof. Hynek Böhm from the Department of Regional Studies visited Kraków on January 30-31 at the invitation of the Ministry of Funds and Regional Development. The purpose of his visit was to participate in a panel discussion during the conference “Development the European Way. What Development Policy for a Secure, Resilient, and Globally Competitive European Union?” in a session dedicated to the Interreg program. Prof. Böhm is the only representative of Polish higher education institutions at this event.
The conference “Development the European Way. What Development Policy for a Secure, Resilient, and Globally Competitive European Union?” is one of the most significant events in Poland in 2025. It is dedicated to discussing the current results and future challenges of cohesion policy, including its impact on the security and socio-economic transformation of the European Union. The conference was organized as part of the Polish Presidency of the European Union.
