Yesterday, the Faculty of Political Science and Social Communication at the University of Opole hosted a conference on “Europe at a turning point: challenges for the EU and the role of the Polish presidency,” co-organized by the Department of European Studies, the Opole branch of the Polish Society for European Studies, the Center for Border and Regional Studies and Europe Direct Opole.
The event was held under the honorary patronage of the Marshal of the Opole Region, Szymon Oglaza.
In the first part of the conference, doctoral students from the Doctoral School presented their research projects. Then our students and students of Opole high schools had the opportunity to listen to inspiring discussions by experts on the most important challenges facing the European Union, Poland and the Opole region.
Numerous questions and a lively debate confirmed how much the initiative was needed.
Thanks to all participants for their activity and involvement!
