On March 6-7, 2025, Dr. hab. Robert Geisler, Prof. UO, Dr. Bartosz Maziarz, and Dr. Tomasz Pawłuszko from the Department of Management and Public Policies actively participated as moderators in the 1st International Conference on Managing Rescue Operations in War and Peace, organized by the Provincial Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Opole.
The conference provided an opportunity for practitioners from Poland, the Czech Republic, Germany, and Ukraine to exchange experiences with researchers conducting studies in the fields of security policy, organization and management, command, and leadership within fire service units.
